Oh this sweet child. I first photographed her mother, Lindsey, before I knew she was even pregnant. Little did I know that we would hit it off and become fast friends in real life. What a blessing! I had the opportunity to watch Lindsey grow with Aria and now watch Aria herself grow.
After she announced her pregnancy to the world, I was able to take her maternity photos as well. We took her maternity photographs on Montrose Beach. There were so many intense gusts of wind that day we were being pelted with sand - Lindsey hung in there like a champ! We were lucky to have gotten some of my favorite shots between the crazy Chicago winds.
I still remember Lindsey texting me that she thought she was in labor. Only a few hours later, miss Aria was introduced to the world and she was stunning. Of course, I ran to downtown Chicago the next morning and took a few quick pictures. I have permanent baby fever, so I had a hard time letting her go.
I love not only photographing but spending time with this mother-daughter duo. Aria keeps on growing, growing, growing.
This brings us up to date on Lindsey and Aria. A few weeks ago I took some photographs in their new neighborhood - Andersonville of Chicago. What I haven't disclosed is what a tough customer Aria can be. When this little lady smiles she means it. Totally worth the effort!
I count myself lucky to know these two. Stay tuned in - I'm certain you haven't seen the last of these two Chicago beauties!
